Rush into the torrent to rescue people, transfer and resettle the affected people, rush to repair damaged facilities… In the face of the disaster, armed police firefighters, troops, volunteers and other Chinese rescue forces quickly assembled to participate in rescue and disaster relief, and joined hands to protect the safety of people’s lives and property.

Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province was severely affected by the flood disaster. According to the deployment of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the National Safety Production Emergency Rescue Center connected with Hebei Province and dispatched a forward working group to lead 4 national safety production emergency rescue teams to Zhuozhou City to participate in waterlogging rescue.

On August 4, news came from Zhuozhou City: 28 villages with potential loss of contact had all been investigated, and a total of 402 villages in the city had been contacted. The stagnant water on the main roads in the urban area has basically subsided, and 75 residential areas that were cut off due to the disaster have been restored to power supply.

At the same time, 1.5897 million people were transferred in Hebei Province, including 961,200 people in flood storage and detention areas.
